A Team Holiday Party 🎅 Ho-Ho-Hosted Online

Hello Reader,

You probably already know that I’m a big fan of play.

Not as an escape from work, but as a way to do better work.

As I wrote in my 16-page ebook Gamify Your Work, Dr Jason Fox said, ‘People don’t play games to avoid work. People play games to engage in well-designed work.’

As we approach the end of the year, many businesses are turning their thoughts to a year-end holiday party.

The easy way to do a holiday party is:

  • rent a venue,
  • have an open bar,
  • hire a DJ, and
  • let everybody dance.

For many in-person teams, this is a solid formula. It lets everyone get together, complain about the boss in whispers underneath loud music, and blow off steam together. This provides a temporary facsimile of a relationship, but no real connection.

What about if you have a distributed team, with people who live in multiple locations? How can you help people feel celebrated, and improve the culture before everyone takes off for the holidays?

We can Ho-Ho-Host a Virtual Zoom Games Party.

My virtual workshops are already interactive and engaging, when I’m teaching topics like productivity and digital marketing.

When I host a Fun & Games session on Zoom, all we do is have a great time. I can help your team deepen their connection, culture, and collaboration through the power of play.

Feedback from recent workshops and playshops includes:

"Caelan is the master of engaging sessions. I loved his humour, playfulness and knowledge. A winning combination!" - Ro Gorell
"It was 8 a.m. in my place and I woke up, I was attentive and I felt totally immersed and I am not a morning person ;)" - Paul Handler
"Such an engaging session with Caelan Huntress. A seasoned pro in how to create and host engaging online sessions." - Fran Cormack
