[REPLAY] Managing AI Agents - The Next High-Value Skill Set

☀️ “Without exposure people don’t build trust, and without trust the conversation stalls.” - The AI Blueprint for Aotearoa

Hello Reader,

This week is TechWeek in New Zealand, a festival for celebrating technology in Aotearoa.

I'm hosting a lot of AI events.

Monday evening I delivered a sold-out webinar, AI Agent Management: The Next High-Value Skill Set

When I asked attendees for a 🔥 burning question 🔥 they had about AI agents, answers included:

  • How do I build my own model and agent?
  • How can you use AI agents safely?
  • Are they expensive?
  • How secure is an AI agent?
  • How easy is it to make an AI agent that can interact with websites?
  • What is a safe way of productionizing AI agents?
  • What can I use an AI agent for?
  • Why do we need them?
  • What are the most common examples of AI agents being used now? and what applications/ tools?
  • How much can trust them and safe limits?
  • Can you tell us about Moltbook?
  • How do you give everyone enough room to innovate but know exactly what they are building with the agents?
  • Claude vs Chatgbt vs Co-pilot. Which do you recommend?
  • How to diagnose the problem when the outputs aren't optimal and how to iterate an agent's instructions?
  • Where do I get the best info on managing agents within an organisation where there is flexibility for everyone to build?
  • How much better are custom agents in Copilot compared with the included agents?
  • How best to start using agentic AI safely
  • How did you start your AI journey?
  • How can you trust AI does what you want it to and no more?
  • How do we scale AI solutions across an organisation?

While I was able to answer some of these questions during the webinar, answering them all would take more time and attention. That's why I've started publishing short-form videos on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

If you like fast, quick video content, follow me over there! I'll be doing some AMA videos answering the questions above.

Later today, I'm hosting another webinar on AI Governance and the Future of Work in New Zealand. There are still a few seats left, RSVP to attend or get the replay.

AI Governance & The Future of Work in New Zealand

AI is already in the room. The question is: who’s in charge? Across Aotearoa, organisations are moving fast—from experimentation to real-world AI deployment. Productivity gains are clear. Investment is accelerating. But governance hasn’t kept up. Most leaders are now responsible for AI outcomes without clear frameworks, shared language, or...

sales vs marketing

🖌️ “Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.” - Scott Adams Hello Reader, It gives me no pride to say this, but when I look at the many hundreds (maybe thousands) of marketers that I know, there are three common characteristics all marketers share: they're smart they're creative and they're losers. Alex Bogusky took these photos because he learned the hard way. 💡 The Irony of Expertise Expertise is not developed from natural talent. Expertise is...

🌱 “If you aren't growing into the future, you are shrinking into the past.” - David Droga Hello Reader, Have you ever heard of the Diffusion of Innovation? It's a bell-curve distribution of how technology is adopted over time. OpenClaw is not cutting-edge technology. It is bleeding-edge technology. Using it is bloody and difficult. This is what the founder of OpenClaw, Peter Steinberger, published on his blog this week: When I had both of my OpenClaw agents running on 4.29, they were...

🤖 “By the end of this decade, there will be machines that can carry out most human professions at least as well as a typical human.” – Ray Kurzweil Hello Reader, There's a point on every skill curve where dabbling doesn't work. You've watched the demos. Read the articles. Tried a few prompts that sort-of worked. Maybe you've even paid for a subscription that you forget to use. And somewhere in the back of your mind, a quiet voice is asking: am I actually getting better at this, or am I just...
